HuCAL® Antibody Generation Technology Reaches 98% Success Rate
As the result of continuous improvement to our high throughput processes and by implementing the HuCAL PLATINUM® library, we have achieved a 98% success rate for custom antibody generation projects in 2009. This compares to the average success rate of around 75% for classic animal-based antibody generation methods.
In addition to a variety of typical protein targets, our successful projects included the following antigen classes: peptides, modified peptides (phospho-peptides or peptides with oxidized cysteines), and homologous proteins which differ in 1-2 amino acids.
With regard to developing analytical antibody tools for diagnostic markers and drug compounds, targets have included: antigens related to autoimmune and infectious diseases, small molecules, therapeutic antibodies, vaccines, and various other biologics.

Should we not deliver at least one ELISA-positive antibody for your antigen which meets the agreed upon success criteria, then we will not invoice you for the Library Screening charge.
In rare instances where project specifications are particularly demanding, we reserve the right to request an upfront non-refundable deposit as a form of risk sharing.
