We offer a complete gene to protein service, whether you want just one protein or many. Our capabilities include :

• Gene synthesis – provide us with a DNA sequence, and we will sythesize the gene for you, or work with any plasmid that you can provide for us.
• Cloning the gene into a transfer plasmid.
• Recombinant virus production, which is then used to infect 2 cell lines.
• Protein expression optimization.
• Protein purification, by various methods, which are dependent on the protein being produced and will be discussed with you before the project commences.

The flashBAC system has been genetically optimized over 25 years to deliver high quality protein expressed to high levels, and can include traditionally problematic proteins such as membrane-bound and secreted proteins.

The baculovirus expression service also offers the option of post-translational modification of the target protein (such as glycosylation, folding and the addition of other limited functional groups), in order to provide you with a functional, soluble protein which are suitable for diagnostic assays.The system is quick and cost-effective without compromising on quality.

Another advantage of the service is that multiple recombinant viruses can be produced simultaneously.
