Specificity
AHP853Z is specific for equine tumour necrosis factor alpha (TNF alpha).

TNF alpha is produced by a range of cells, including macrophages and monocytes and is an important mediator of the equine inflammatory response.

AHP853Z recognises both native and recombinant equine TNF alpha. No detectable cross-reactivity was observed with bovine, porcine, mouse or rat TNF alpha.
Storage
Store at -20oC only.

This product should be stored undiluted.

Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
