AbD Serotec has extensive experience in small and large scale in vitro cell culture techniques, and offer a range of cell culture techniques and services.

  • Cell Culture | Tissue CultureSmall scale antibody production (up to 150 L) which can be reliably achieved in spinner flasks and roller bottles. Yield is dependent on the clone used. We can customize your media to your requirements, helping you to create the best growth conditions for your clones, helping to ensure maximum possible yield.
  • For large scale tissue culture projects (500 mg and over) we offer hollow fiber reactors. After an initial spinner flask test run, to determine optimal growth conditions and the yield of your clone, we will start an initial 6 week culture run with the option of 2 week extenstions if required, for as long as required.
  • Antibody purity will be assessed by SDS-PAGE as standard, with HPLC or IEF being offered as alternatives.
  • Our in-house cell culture procedures are covered by our ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
  • We can offer lot-to-lot consistency and batch-tested certification

Expert Cell Culture Processing

A range of factors determine the success rate of any project. We have over 20 years of experience in cell culture processing including mycoplasma testing and removal, if required, the use of different media and customizing projects to fulfill our client needs.

 

We also offer the creation, maintenance and cryopreservation of master and working cell banks for your hybridoma. The creation of these banks helps to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and loss of antibody production through maintaining a cell line in continuous culture. These banks will then be held on an annual basis for you, for as long as you require.
