Antibodies to hCG for OEM applications

hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) is a glycoprotein comprised of 2 subunits referred to as alpha (a) and beta (ß). In addition to its utility as the primary marker for human pregnancy, measurements of its subunits and its hyperglycosylated form can indicate various disease states such as trophoblastic disease, pituitary and testicular cancers, and fetal abnormalities such as Down’s Syndrome and neural tube defects (NTDs).

AbD Serotec recommends a range of antibodies available in bulk suitable for the commercial production of assays to hCG, its subunits and variants. Please note that although we have confidence in the performance of these reagents, because of the variety of assay formats customers may employ including proprietary platforms, it is useful if clients test multiple combinations to determine which matched pair will meet their assay criteria in their test system. These antibodies are listed below by product code with their clone numbers and specificities.
