Antibody Production Process

Our custom polyclonal antibody production service is tailored to meet your specific project requirements

Polyclonal antibody production package includes:

  • Cost of one animal plus housing for the term of the project.
  • Polyclonal Antibody Production ServicesPeptide or small molecule conjugation, if required. We can conjugate your chosen antigen to a carrier protein, such as CCH, KLH or BSA to maximize the immune response elicited.
  • Pre-immune bleeds if requested
  • 3 - 4 immunizations per animal. We use FCA as the ajuvant for the original immunization, and FIA for all additional booster immunizations. If your protocol requires the use of different adjuvants, we will try to accomodate you as far as possible.
  • Test bleeds, if requested, can be taken and shipped to you to meet your individual requirements. Test bleeds can also be sent to you at the end of the project, with the final serum.
  • Collection of production bleeds after the final immunizations

Optional Polyclonal Antibody Services:

In addition to the services above, we can also offer the following, to allow further personalization of your project:

  • Peptide synthesis to create your target antigen, if required.
  • 4-5 ELISA screens of all tests bleeds against your immunizing antigen.
  • Serum purification to yield purified antibody.
  • Additional animals are available on request. We recommend a minimum of 2 animals per project.
  • Conjugation of purified antibody to the fluorochrome of your choice.

We also offer you the flexibility of extending your project on a monthly basis, which is particularly suitable for polyclonal antibody production in larger animal hosts.
