MHC CLASS II RT1D Antibody Product Summary

Specificity

MCA50GA recognises a monomorphic determinant on rat RT1D, the rat homologue of mouse I-E, present on all rat strains. MRC OX-17 does not cross-react with rat RT1B or mouse I-E antigen, see Fukumoto, T. et al. for details.

This product is routinely tested in flow cytometry on rat splenocytes.

Target Species

Rat

Product Form

Purified IgG - liquid

Preparation

Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G

Phosphate buffered saline

Fusion Partners

Spleen cells from immunised mice were fused with cells from the mouse X63.Ag8.653 myeloma cell line .

Storage

Store at +4oC or at -20oC if preferred.

This product should be stored undiluted.

Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
