Specificity
7045-3099 is specific for p53, an intensively studied tumour suppressor protein, which has a vital role in the control of cell growth.
In normal circumstances cells arrest during the G1/G2 phase of the cell cycle, and undertake any DNA repair processes that are necessary. This arrest is mediated by p53, and if p53 is absent or damaged cells with cancerous potential may be able to continue through the cell cycle.

Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
