Antibody production in vitro
AbD Serotec offers a range of cell culture techniques and services to provide the most cost-effective option for Client projects.
- Static flask, spinner flask and hollow fiber bioreactor cultures to meet all your production needs from 10mg to 10g
- Antibody purity assessed by SDS-PAGE, HPLC or IEF

Purification
Our proprietary purification processes are designed to maximize
the yield, purity, and immunoreactivity of your antibodies. We offer
protein G, protein A and ion exchange chromatography purification
processes. The method selected is based on the antibody provided
and/or customer requirements.
Quality Control
We test and validate all antibodies according to our ISO 9001-accredited design and production quality assurance system. Our comprehensive testing facility includes ELISA, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry and Western blot.
Azide-free antibodies
We now offer antibodies in an azide free format. If required we can measure the endotoxin level in your antibody preparation (< 10 EU/ml).
Freeze drying
This process lyophilizes your antibody, which can prolong the shelf-life and improve the temperature stability of antibodies, especially those conjugated with RPE and APC. We are happy to advise you on the suitability of freeze drying for your particular project.
Antibody conjugation
We offer a variety of markers for antibody conjugation including: Alkaline Phosphatase, APC, Biotin, Dylight™ 488, Dylight™ 549, Dylight™ 649, FITC, HRP, and RPE. Our proprietary purification processes have been developed to maximize the yield, purity, and immunoreactivity of your antibodies.
